Support Blake with his Pectus Carinatum Surgery

Hey everyone,

My partner and I are fundraising to pay towards his surgery and on going expenses for the surgery on the 28th of October.

He has an abnormal growth of cartilage on his chest (pigeon chest) and requires surgery as it affects his breathing and his personal appearance. This is something that has to be done before he stops growing as it’s more optimal for his healing time.

Because of my partners future career we’ve resorted to going private as the wait time greatly decreases. This is not covered by the public health system. As well as ACC as the surgery isn’t due to an accident.

He is also on a medical stand down for his application into the Navy as the surgery date is to close to the next intake.

My partner will be out of work for at least 3-4 weeks as his job is very physical. Due to the amount of healing time needed for a full recovery.
