Pelle’s top surgery fund 🏳️‍⚧️

Hello, you wonderful wonderful people!

Firstly, thank you all SO so much for your contribution to my surgery fund. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for your help. Especially in the current climate, where transgender people are met with an increased level of scepticism, discrimination and hatred. Trans people are valid and worthy of care, and you are all helping prove that fact by supporting someone's medical transition. This means so much to me, and is hugely uplifting in these frightening times. And, of course, on a personal level, I am immensely thankful for your contributions, as it will allow me to finally live my life to the fullest.

The page was closed for a while, but I am reopening it today, as I had accidentally set the end-date earlier than I'd meant to.

Since starting this page, I have had my first consultation with my surgeon and now have a tentative surgery date, which will be in June this year (2023)! Yay!

This is incredibly exciting, as it feels like I can finally *see* this immensely life-changing thing happening. It's been a very, very long and difficult journey, and it is finally coming to an end.

My consult also came with an estimate, which is slightly higher than what I had calculated myself. I have therefore increased my goal to reflect this.

Thank you all again so much for your help and love, I am truly grateful beyond words.
