Peter has just become a solo dad to his four young kids after the loss of their mum. Lets help make their first few months a bit easier.

This family have suddenly lost their mum at a very young age. Times are going to be difficult for all of them with Peter taking leave to look after the children while they finish their school year and a possible move to a new school and city. Peter is a great dad and is determined to be the stable factor in his children's lives, but with no mum and Peter needing to work and raise his kids on his own things will not be easy. We would love to raise some money for Peter and his children so that he can get off to the best possible start and give Peter and the children the possibility of having a special break or holiday in the future.

Hello everyone, just a quick update and thank you to all of the generous donors who have contributed to the give a little pagefor Peter and his children. Peter has been overwhelmed by the support he has received from friends, family and several kind hearted individuals to whom he has no connection. It is in these difficult times that we see the best of the NZ spirit which seeks to help out a mate when he/she is down. The appeal has surpassed what we had expected and runs until December 24, so if you or any other friends wish to make a contribution you have until then. Once again thank you all and I know that this financial contribution will ease the transition for Peter and the kids, in what is a tough time for them.
