As friends and extended family of the Troakes, we are trying to raise money for Peter. In April, Peter was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma which was found on his left ribs. After a round of chemotherapy we were told the chemotherapy wasn't working and that the cancer had spread. Peter is a 17 year old boy, at Kristin School in Albany, who is currently having treatment in Starship Hospital. Peter is fully involved in sport playing both golf and basketball. We are now moving onto our second option of treatment. We are also seeking possible alternative treatment internationally, however, because of the cancer on his lungs, it is dangerous for him to fly and therefore, we may possibly need to bring medical teams and treatments here.
