Phil Jones (Jonesy) A GREAT NEW ZEALANDER
Massey Rugby Club would like to help Jonesy through the tough time that he and his family are experiencing at the moment.
He suffered a stroke while working up a ladder, sustaining further head injuries when he fell through a window. The stroke was caused by an un-diagnosed hole in his heart.

As you probably know, Jonesy has a young family and has recently started his own business, so with Christmas coming up, we would like to help him out as much as we can.
Jonesy has given many years service to Massey Rugby Club, as a Premier player and was our U21’s and Junior Girls Ripper coach. I know he will get through the rehab needed with the same determination he had on the footy field.
I am proud to be part of Massey Rugby Club, who pull together in times of need, to ‘Give a Little’ to those who have given a lot.
Phil is a member of our rugby club, as well as being an Under 21 and Junior coach
Jonesy faces a long recovery and massive amounts of rehab. Funds will go to help look after the new business he has just started, as well as looking after his young family.
