Please help us get to the first ever Physical Disability Rugby League World Cup and bring the trophy home

Nationwide

Physical Disability Rugby League New Zealand need your help. In October we will represent New Zealand at the inaugural Physical Disability Rugby League playing against Australia, England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland as part of the Rugby League World Cup being held in Warrington UK. We are totally self funded and with the total cost for the trip at $150, 000, we are half way there through a lot of fundraising efforts but we now need to reach out to our fellow Kiwis to help us get a bit closer. Your kindness will not only bring happiness to our players with a physical disability–players who may otherwise have little to no opportunities. It will also help them build a better future, providing opportunities to increase self-confidence in their own talents and abilities and become positive role models to their peers.

No amount is too big or small, we are grateful for any help you can give.

We have a big target to hit , but with the help and support of our wonderful community, we know we can come together to help give our athletes a chance.

Donations over $5 are tax deductible.

Physical Disability Rugby League New Zealand World Cup success  9 December 2022

Kia ora everyone, thank you to all of you that donated to our teams fundraising effort to participate at the inaugural World Cup for Physical Disability RL in the UK. Despite all of the things that went against us, broken bones, concussion, illness the team didn't give up. They played with passion and pride only kiwis do and resulting unbelievable effort meant we faced England in the grand final at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. Coming away runners up on the field, but winners with the crowds, the people of Warrington and beyond. We are so incredibly proud of the team and equally incredibly thankful to each and everyone of you for your generous support. Ngā mihi nui
