We're excited to share that Annie Hawaikirangi has been chosen to compete in the 2024 Pickleball World Cup on October 26th and 27th in Lima, Peru.
Pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in New Zealand and the United States, drawing in athletes like Le Bron James, Tom Brady and tennis professional Eugenie Bouchard, just to name a few.
Annie has represented New Zealand in various sports at the national level, and her debut in pickleball marks a significant milestone.
Hailing from Turanganui-a-Kiwa (Gisborne), Annie remains rooted in her community. Despite her rising success, she's committed to supporting vulnerable families, tackling issues like poverty and unemployment.
Annie's passion for Pickleball and mental health advocacy drives her to mentor others, bringing joy and positive change through sports.
Her background in personal training, group fitness, clinical hypnotherapy, and ongoing studies in Whanau Ora prepare her well for this exciting opportunity.
We invite you to support Annie’s journey to the Pickleball World Cup. Your contributions will help cover the costs of her participation as she proudly represents Aotearoa/New Zealand on the global stage.

Successful Pickleball Fundraiser - Thank you 17 July 2024
I held a Pickleball Tournament alongside Henderson Squash Club, in Auckland, New Zealand. 70+ entrants and 34 teams - all played in the spirit of the game.
I love my community and really appreciated the support.
