We're back home thanks to you

Wow. You were a very important part of our yurt rebuild. Merci from the bottom of our hearts.

And heh, we got back home to our yurt about 3 weeks ago. Stronger. Better. And just two days ago the fireplace was reinstalled. Yippee to feeling cosy when it is freezing outside.

Community generosity made up of people like you is remarkable. Keep sharing the love as we too love to do.

Au revoir + felicitations

This is not a goodbye.

It is just an au revoir from this fabulous fundraising community of friends who have helped us through a difficult time and the end of our Give a Little page.

Celebrations include:

Pierre has repaired the walls and ceiling circle.

We have bought new wood for rafters.

We've researched sturdier options of construction against the elements.

Garden is still producing well.

Getting canvas looked at this week.

Still getting in our daily river dip.

Even celebrated with 2 friends our surprise wedding ceremony at the river last weekend.

So numerous thanks to you for helping us take small, yet significant steps in life + rebuilding. Felicitations to all of us.

Here's to continued generosity of spirit in our world.

WOODn't it be lovely...

Thanks to you, this week we purchased some fabulous Douglas Fir wood for our new yurt rafters and it was delivered yesterday.

Pierre has also been pottering away this week creating some loveliness again with timber. Repairing, sanding, oiling...as well as us researching stronger methods of construction and approaching our community with specific skills who are excited to help us.

Thanks to you, as part of our community of people who care, we are progressing forward.

Woodn't it be lovely if everyone's lives worked around such community care and generosity? No sense if lack. No need for worry. Lots of abundance.

Comminity Spirit and Apricot goodness

Our wonderful community have been gathering together, picking an abundance of organic apricots from a friend's land and we have been selling them. Humbled by such love in action. Everything makes a difference.

Would you like to initiate other such little (or big) projects that bring your friends and community together for the cause - ours or someone's else's?

It is the way forward in this crazy world.

Problems are relative

Happy New Year everyone who has generously contributed to our fundraising efforts and who continue to share with others.

We are also humbled by conversations we are having that remind us that life isn't especially easy for many.

Was fabulous seeing our family over Christmas. People in your / our life is where the power lies.

What I know to be true in my own life is the circulation of generosity. Give from the heart in your skill-set, talents, money, possessions to causes that stir your heart. Others will do the same. And therefore there is no lack.

Goodness and generosity - thanks from us in the caravan Janelle and Pierre

What a week. Generous help by donors like yourselves. Merci beaucoup.

Groups in our community including local Sound bowls group offered a fabulous evening of healing and the proceeds of last night's session.

Pierre is in agony after playing Hercules in the clean-up. His building company is kindly helping out with healing therapy expenses and many healers in our friendship circle are being super generous in their support of him too.

Researching more robust yurt option with more reputable company and to be safer and hold-up better in our environment.

Heartened by the support we are receiving.

As a very good fundraiser myself and advocate for numerous other causes and events I have been involved in, it is humbling to be on the receiving end of goodness and generosity.
