Burnout cars are a fun but expensive hobby. Any dollar really does help out in the long run.
Nationwide
Pigbait was built from the ground up in my driveway with the help of a few mates and a very tight budget. The car went well for how cheaply we did everything.
Now that the car has had some attention. It now needs to perform as well as it looks, which involves a lot of expensive parts sadly. New turbo beanie for heat protection. Proper injectors and the correct sensors. New decent high flow fans to keep the car cool.
Even after the cars running right. There is the costs involved in tyres for the skid car. Along with trailer hire and petrol for both the skid car and the tow vehicle ect and some events are 2-3 days so sometimes accomodation is needed
It’s such a fun hobby and it helps show people you don’t need a big $80k+ blown v8 to do some proper burnouts.
Turbo beanie $150
Twin 12” thermo fans $150
Tyres per comp $80-150
Trailer hire $170 per weekend
Skid car petrol $80
Tow vehicle petrol $120
Entry fee $50-120
Any extra will just keep going into the skid car. Anything to make the car cope better :)
