Please Save my Hero Charlie

Hi everyone,

I am absolutely blown away. My life has been a challenging one and having Charlie with me makes it a thousand times easier. You all have had a great impact not only on saving Charlie but showing me huge kindness that I have not experienced much of in my life and I can not express just how grateful I am, you've saved Charlie and myself. Charlie is my young beloved standard poodle. I was injured as a child by some people and am now left permanently injured, I work very hard when my body allows, but do not earn very much. I work for the hospital in occupational therapy, helping others going through treatments and operations like I did and still am. Charlie came into my life when I thought I couldn't survive my severe injuries any longer, when the treatment was excruciatingly painful and he was there, always there for cuddles and helped me through. Just over a year ago I was attacked by an intruder in my house, who punched me multiple times and then tried to slit my throat with a knife, and cut my arm. Charlie came to my rescue and saved my life. Now I have to put my pride aside and ask for everyone's help to save his life, something which I am financially failing to do. He is my child, my family and my best friend. He is the only one there for me on my sick days. Please help with whatever you can. The money raised will go directly to his vet bills at Pet Doctors in Papanui Christchurch.
