Please help Eve say goodbye to her Dad and bring him home

  • Thank you!

      27 August 2025

Rachael here - Huge thank you to everyone for your help, the outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming ❤️

Eve is having a really hard time coming to terms with her dad's death and this support really means the world to her and one less thing she has to worry about right now.

I have increased the goal slightly as in the rush to make this page I forgot to take into account the 5% fee givealittle charge and have extended the timeframe by 2 weeks after Eve's recent update. If there is anything left over I hope to get Eve a small piece of memorial jewellery so she can keep her Dad with her always after being separated for so long ❤️‍🩹

    Hello everyone.

Thanks to your generosity and my cousin Ronan (made initial deposit in France) and my cousin Cassilda (acting as our representative who managed to barter down the funeral home), we have been able to secure an extension for time to pay the fees. Ronan helped to make a deposit which now means dads body is safe, we are able to hold a service for him, and he is going to be able to be cremated so when I go on the trip that was scheduled already to see him next year, I will be collecting him to bring him home instead.

Thank you all so much. I never would have been able to move in if we hadn’t been able to achieve this, and it is thanks to your help.

It goes without saying I will be eternally grateful and I am continuously stunned at the support I have received.

I still need to come up with the full amount but the time extension has been a game changer.

Please feel free to share my link ❤️ on behalf of dad, I thank you.

Sorry I also wanted to mention the funds are not going towards paying for my journey over there. My elective for final year medicine had been organised in the UK specifically so I could go to see dad. It’s not ending the way we thought, but I will be lucky enough to go and retrieve him and some special belongings we shared.
