Please Help Anna Get To OUTWARD BOUND

Hello, my name is Anna Davis.

I am a student in year 12 at One Tree Hill College.

I have been accepted on the December 2022 Mind Body Soul Outward Bound Course. This is a 21-day course in Anakiwa, for teenagers aged 16-18. During this time, I will be interacting with and building lifelong friendships with unique people. I will also be participating in physical and mental challenges out of my comfort zone. I have heard these will help me push my limits to find what I am truly capable of. They will also help develop my resilience, leadership skills and confidence.

I think this course will be extremely beneficial to me, as I have been struggling with anxiety, stress and a lack of self-confidence for a while. I hope Outward Bound can help me to develop new skills and behaviours to help me deal with these issues, and have a positive, lasting effect on my future.

However, there is a cost for such a fantastic opportunity. The course cost has increased to $5,495. Already, I have fundraised a part of this from sewing washable face masks, selling items on TradeMe, and even from a part-time babysitting job. I still have a long way to go to reach my goal ($2800), and I hope you all can help.

Every donation, no matter how small, will get me one step closer to my goal of getting to Outward Bound, and will be truly appreciated.
