Please Help Dad Fight Small Cell Lung Cancer Stage 4 ❤️

Hi Everyone
We are a small Family of 6, 3 young daughters mum and dad and me who have been hit with this catastrophic diagnosis. It all happened so quick 😓
On the 24th October 2024, my humble father has been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Small Cell Carcinoma Stage 4B
I have exhausted all options advocating to help dad fight for funding for Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer, but i am not giving up yet
This unfunded Immunotherapy called Atezolizumab (Tecentriq) is the combination to battle this aggressive type of cancer 💔. With Chemotherapy alone, this aggressive cancer has a life expectancy of less than 12 months. We are spending all the valuable time with him now as much as we can but Immunotherapy may increase his chance of success and fate
Its so disappointing to bare the news of the system being so unfair but Pharmac has a maximum price cap before they release the treatment. I have planned self funds by half and hope to make the other half from our generous fellows
Unfortunately, my dad is one of the 15% of the population who got diagnosed with this. We have seeked a second opinion and the oncologist cannot provide us with any options despite my fight and advocacy for this
Please help me help dad to put the gloves on against this rare disease. Every little bit counts, thank you all so much for your compassionate offerings ❤️

Whats going on my fellow friends & family. Heading onto the month of March and 4 cycles of Chemotherapy completed, we still got 2 more cycles to go. Dad has been showing signs of minimal distress but days can be up and down, some days could be bad, some days could be normal. The point of this cancer is its really hard to predict its movements due to its rapid spreading. We can still be under control and are able to have better results with Atezolizumab immunotherapy. So please, if anyone is interested, in supporting with donations towards treatment, please share the message out. Small or big can build this bridge. It just not helps us but also continues to also help further open options for treatments & statistics on other patients too. Thank you all, il come back with another update again when we get more news.
