PLEASE HELP DAVE BEAT CANCER – AGAIN!

In 2016, after an 8-year battle that included treatment in NZ and two lengthy trips to Germany in 2012 and 2016 to participate in cancer trials using antibodies, Dave and his family received the remarkable news that he was in complete remission from a very aggressive form of lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Sadly, after feeling unwell a month ago and ending up in hospital, Dave has now found out that he is no longer in remission - the cancer has returned, it is wide spread and is in 85% of his bone marrow so time is of the essence.

The team of specialists in Germany, who he has remained in contact with in the years since his treatment, were quick to get in touch. With cancer science having advanced so much since 2012, they were wanting him to travel to Germany as soon as he could. Dave is now booked to leave Auckland in the last week of October.

Dave’s boys, Christopher and Samuel were too young to understand when Dave was first diagnosed, and lived their early lives under their Dad’s uncertain ‘cancer cloud’. Now young men, they, along with Dave’s partner Lucy and her sons, are ready to do anything to help Dave get and pay for the treatment he needs to rid his body of cancer.
