UPDATE on Felix, I have added new photos. Felix had a sore. We didn't know about until 4 days later. I Remember there was a bit of clue stuck to his skin and fur. We thought it was from the surgery while the monitoring his vitals during surgery. We couldn't wash it off, was only a little. Felix got thick fur and I thought it will come off by itself. Oh how I want to kick myself, I knew Felix had an follow up with vets and we would have asked to look at it if not coming off. 4 Days after stitches came off we noticed he licking one spot alot and thought it was still pain. He was still on pain meds but had to see vet to reduce the pills. I was shocked to see that Felix managed to pull the fur where the clue was and made a sore. In a couple of days he has licked the sore to a big sore. We rushed back to the vets. He is back on stronger pain meds and cream to treat him. We have to air dry the sore and at night cover with the cream. My poor baby have the cone back on and vest at night. He is really not in good place. However the Other vet said he wasn't on enough pain relief and used the sore as it comfort him. We knew he was and had this question a few times at the vets and they recond he was on enough pain meds. We know now he wasn't coping. Since Felix is on strong meds he is more calmer and more snuggled. After a week we will see if he needs to have less pain meds. It's day 3 and the wound is looking dry but needs lots of healing. I do feel bad for not keeping an eye on it sooner and mention the glue when we had him at the vets when stitches was taken out. Thank you to all that have been supported us we appreciate it very much.

After a week after his surgery we had to rush Felix back to vets he was in so much pain. He received double the dose and was happy to take cone off. Vet gave him a special outfit to help comfort him with his recovery. I have shared some photos of him enjoying the freedom without the dome. He was so much more relax. After the 14 days he had to go back again to check out his wound and hopefully healed well to take stitches out. Now 4 days ago we had his stitches out. He is doing so well, getting his energy back a little more as I have shared pictures of him paying attention to his toys. He is sleeping alot in a corner window longing to go outside. We do take him on short walks on a harness. I have shared a few pictures of my son enjoy the sun with him.

Please help us this has been a big hit to us with his accident and the lost of his leg. His surgery has come to $2800 in this time had to go back to vets a number of times and cost every time. Felix had to get extra pain meds twice and coat aswell. There is alot of cost involved. We are trying to make payments every week and have to miss out on food shopping or skipping bills. I know alot of us have to do it anyway these days. Please understand your help will help us greatly and continue to keep Felix with us. I will never give up on him his my best friend and support me during my disability. I am very isolated and his company is a comfort for me. Help me deal with everyday pain. I don't want to feel that this accident is going to cost me to give him up. It was not easy even to feed him before accident with food prices now this big bill to deal with. We are selling alot of things in our home to cover thd cost. Please help us. Thank you so much
