Unfortunately I couldn’t get the drain for my fluid in my stomach as my spleen and liver are too large and would be more of a risk. It’s seems to be going down slowly which is what I wanted before Christmas! Everything has been going pretty steady and feeling better since my last update ☺️
It’s been a rough month with having a blood clot in my right leg and having to go under general to get 4 varices tied down my esophagus area. I started vomiting blood and feeling rubbish luckily I got the right drs and they have managed to control the bleeding, I’m still at risk of it happening again but so far so good and I’m feeling better. I have a ct tomorrow “24 October” so will post those results once I know 🤞😊
Thought I would do a little update on my progress…
The last few months I’ve had my ups and downs with bugs, pneumonia etc but doing better now.
My cancer has had a slight shrinkage from the last couple of scans. Will do another update soon 😊
Hi all It’s Haley here just wanting to thank everyone for their support and donations and giving a quick update on how things are going.
I am still taking the chemo tablets Lenvima which seems to be helping and the cancer hasn’t grown or spread! I still have a long way to go as it’s not a cure but it is giving me better quality of life and giving me quality time with my daughter.
A couple of weeks ago I had a blood transfusion as my haemoglobin levels were really low, I will be getting an iron infusion on Tuesday (15/04) to boost it up more. I will also be getting a gastroscopy to check for any blood loss.
Things seem to be stable at the moment and I’m keeping a positive attitude 😊
It has been a while since the last update, a lot has happened and changed ! Haley is no longer doing the chemotherapy she was started on as after the third round it really knocked her and she went downhill fast, we are blessed for her fighting spirit and she picked up slowly with a lot of care and support. Unfortunately a scan showed the three rounds of chemo has made no positive changes. So now Haley is trying an oral form of chemotherapy called Lenvatinib and so far she is tolerating this one a lot better. Haley is living each day as it comes and trying very hard to keep her positive attitude and do all she can manage. We are hopeful and we keep praying 🙏 thankyou to everyone for your support 💜💜
Haley has had three rounds of chemo and was due for number four , unfortunately Haley’s health went down hill and she hasn’t continued with chemotherapy at of this stage. We are receiving support from hospice as well as family all rallying around. We are taking each day as it comes. Due to Haley being unable to use her phone and communicate via email etc. I have been nominated to act on behalf of Haley to receive the funds. We will be putting the funds towards anything that helps make Haley’s journey more comfortable. Such a big thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for your support 💜💕
