Haley’s fight for Time
Whangarei, Northland
Haley was diagnosed with Fibrolamellar heptocellular carcinoma in September 24. This is an aggressive form of liver cancer that affects both children and young adults. This has been a heart breaking diagnosis for both Haley and her family. Haley is only 33 years old and is a devoted mother to her 2 year old daughter. Haley is a brave spirit who wants to fight to do all she can for herself and her daughter, getting the most time together to make memories to last a lifetime. Haley will be receiving palliative care which will include chemotherapy. We aren’t aware of any unfunded treatment as of this stage, but we are willing to consider all options if it means giving Haley hope. We know any treatment will be focused on making Haley more comfortable and giving her as much time as possible. We are holding onto our hope and optimism, which we feel is just as important as her treatment. Along with all our love, support and prayers.
Haley and her family are grateful for any donation received and thankyou from the bottom of our hearts.
I am one of Haley’s sisters, and apart of supporting her through this time.
Every donation received will go towards relieving any stress and pressure on Haley to give her more time to focus on quality time with her daughter, family and any unknown unfunded treatment presented as an option for Haley (page will be updated if needed).
New update 4 November 2025
Unfortunately I couldn’t get the drain for my fluid in my stomach as my spleen and liver are too large and would be more of a risk. It’s seems to be going down slowly which is what I wanted before Christmas! Everything has been going pretty steady and feeling better since my last update ☺️
Thank you! 🙏
Thank you so much ☺️ -Haley
