Please support four-year-old Indaya in her battle against Leukemia in Starship Hospital.
Levin, Manawatu-Wanganui
I am heart-broken to share that our beautiful girl Indaya has been diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-All). Indaya has begun her fight against cancer in Starship Children's Hospital alongside myself (Mum) and whānau.
This news has come as a shock especially for Indaya, who still has a tough journey ahead with intensive treatment including chemotherapy.
We have been asked by family and friends how they can help, so we have created this givealittle page to financially assist our long journey ahead. This will help with bills, travel costs, food and other expenses related to Indaya's journey fighting Leukemia. Relieving some pressure for myself and whānau.
Please continue to keep our girl in your thoughts and prayers. Our whānau deeply appreciates all of your support and messages.

Aaliyah is mine and my partner Thomas' niece. Her and Indaya are like our own children. We see each other daily. Indaya and our daughter Freya who is the same age are very close.
Donations will be used to support Indaya's Mother with living costs while being away from home in Auckland. Plus, when they are finally able to go home, the cost of travelling to follow-up appointments.
Indaya’s update 27 November 2025
As we get to the end of the year I’d love to update everyone on how Indaya’s doing and share a little bit of our journey so far.
This year has been an uphill battle filled with some of the biggest challenges we will ever have to face. A roller coaster ride, massive ups and downs, anticipating the day we can get off.
Indaya’s strength, bravery, resilience and determination continues to inspire everyone around her. Showing us that even on the hardest days you’ve just got to keep pushing.
As of May this year, Indaya has been in remission and has continued to remain cancer free. A massive win we are yet to celebrate when the time is right. Indaya still has a lengthy two years left of treatment to keep the Leukaemia away. As we move into Maintenance phase over the Christmas holidays Indaya’s treatment will slow down. 2026 for us looks like fewer appointments, hospital trips, chemo and medications, another huge win!
I want to say another massive thank you to our village who have held us up and everyone who has helped in any way. It has made a huge impact on our journey, we are forever so deeply grateful to have had so many beautiful people show up for us near and far.
