Please help Jacob get back on his feet.
Dunedin, Otago
Jacob had his car stolen on the night before ANZAC day, which had his work tools in it for his apprenticeship. Jacob and his friends tried really hard to track down his car from the thieves but came up just short, only to find his car burnt out by the criminals.
The work that Jacob and his friends did has made the Polices job easier and the person responsible for a car conversion ring in Dunedin has been arrested and will have his day in court. Jacob spent a lot of time and effort working on and doing up his car, which he was very proud of. But the loss of his car has had a huge impact on him.
Unfortunately Jacobs insurance had lapsed and he has lost everything. He is a great kid, well liked and appreciated by his family and friends. This has been really tough on him and we hate seeing him down so are hoping to raise a bit of money for him to ease his loss. Jacob's family are around him to support him but are not in a position to be able to afford to replace everything he needs.
Jacobs car was $4,000 and his tools where $3,500. We are hoping to raise just a little bit of this with give a little, to go on top of what his family can provide, so we can replacing his tools and car and get him back on his feet.
We appreciate these are difficult times, so are very grateful for anything that will help.
Thank you in advance for you time and help.
I am Jacob's Father and am very proud of my son. He would never ask for help so I am asking on his behalf.
The priority is replacing Jacobs tools for his apprenticeship and then putting something towards a car for him to get to work.
Thanks Anna, much appreciated. Cheers Jason.
