Please help my kitten Lucie get better
Bishopdale, Christchurch
Hi there. During the Christmas period we have come to Christchurch and brought our dogs and our little kitten. Lucie is 4 months old and last night 29th of December we got notice that my Lucie had been hit by a car on harewood road bishopdale and they had just left him on the road. Thankfully someone was generous and kind enough to stop after witnessing him getting hit and taking him to the after-hours on Antigua street. He is now blind they think due to not really seeing where he is going or being able to walk properly and in a straight line. He has picked up over the duration of the day after being on pain relief and kept in a cage at harewood vets since the after hours had closed. They said he has swelling around his eye and can't really eat properly at the moment so syringe feed for a few days and see how it goes. I am just asking for a little bit of help as of the time of year and very unexpected so far his bills are around $1500-2500 and still to climb over the next few days and if he needs x-rays that's another $400-500 extra. He is our pride and joy and the joyful kitten is now to become an inside cat due to everything. I am going out tonight to buy him his cage and what he needs. Any help would be appreciated and gratefully accepted.
Thank you all for reading this.
