Please help Luna see again

Luna is my 18 month old Shar-pei, who has the sweetest personality and is a much loved member of the family bringing smiles wherever she goes! Unfortunately as she's aged to adulthood she has developed a severe case of Entropion. Entropion occurs when the eyelid folds inwards and causes the eyelashes to continuously rub against the cornea, making it very uncomfortable and irritating. In the last 3 weeks her case has taken a turn for the worst with her not being able to open her eyes making her blind with severe and constant pain.

The vet has informed us that her eyes need urgent attention meaning a surgery is the only way to help her see again, I have paid $780 towards medication to help with the pain. She has said the surgery will cost between $2,000-$2,500 with on going costs of up to $1,000 to treat any infection that they are unable to see due to Luna not being able to open her eyes.

Unfortunately if we are unable to raise the costs for her surgery, the kindest thing to do for her so she is relieved of pain is to have her put down.This would destroy our family.
