Voluntary Youth Supporter seeking help to fundraise for Youth basketball.

Please!!! I am needing your help to raise funds for my Taiohi-(Youth) Basketball Teams in Palmerston North. Due to the thousands of changes made by the government, there is no funding for anything Youth.

Your donation is very much appreciated and will help my basketball teams with Transport (to and from training safely), Team Uniforms, Shoes, Sweatbands, Mouthguards (As we are coming into our Winter School Basketball season), Hireage of a gym for weekly training (Held at Massey University), Hireage of two coaches (who encourage and support taiohi through and ahead not only in basketball, but many other taiohi activities that we do as a community).

There is so much that your contribution can do to help not one, but many taiohi ahead in life, in hopes and in their dreams to live and to try something not in their, what they would call "normal".

I have founded these basketball teams to support the not so fortunate youth of Palmerston North who truely want to make a difference for themselves for their future rather than ending up as another statistic in the system. The teams are not officially registered.

Use of funds

Transport (Hireage of two vans via Cross Country), Uniforms (including Team name prints), Shoes, Mouthguards, Sweatbands, Water bottles, Hireage of gym (for training purposes), Hireage of two coaches, Kai (food) for participants (training ends late afternoons into the evening).

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform.
