Please Help Me Save Maxi – Urgent Vet Care Needed

This is incredibly hard for me to share, but my beautiful horse Maxi and I really need help.

Maxi is only five years old & is a big part of my family. He has the gentlest heart & has helped so many children through our therapy sessions, even just walking him around the neighbourhood he makes everyone happy! kids running out to pat him & hop on for a ride.

Before Christmas his health begun declining rapidly what started as equine asthma has worsened into secondary lung infections, loss of body condition, his breathing rate is dangerously high, he is now really struggling for air & urgently needs help.

I had the vet out 3 days before Christmas which resulted in a $1,000 vet bill but the treatment prescribed for him did not help.

I then spent $500 on medications and supplements recommended by professionals and other horse owners, but he is too unwell to even eat them. He now needs another urgent vet consultation with a different form of treatment, which will be $1,500 - $2,000

Financially, I am really struggling to cover the costs of what he needs but I cannot give up on him. Maxi means everything to me. He is deeply loved by many & still has so much life ahead of him, i will do whatever it takes give him a chance to recover — but I cannot do it alone.
