Please help my beautiful daughter get healthy again.

Hello my name is Shontae I am a solo mum to my beautiful daughter Zariyah, she is 13 years old. Zah is my only child she was diagnosed 8 weeks ago, with lymphedema which is swelling of the lymph nodes in her neck. She has had allergic reactions to the antibiotics the hospital had given to her we have been in and out of Middlemoore Hospital ever since her diagnosis.

The doctors referred us to see a Nose and Throat specialist, the waiting list is very very long. This illness is affecting my daughters life she hasn't been able to attend school or do anything really. She's always tired and constantly getting sick. At the moment she has a throat infection and sore ears her swollen lymph nodes affect her immune system and she is very vulnerable to getting infections and viruses easily. She is currently on medication, but they have not reduced the swelling at all.

I'm scared and worried every day as I wait helplessly for an appointment. There are private Nose and Throat specialist available but each consultation will cost between $350 - $400.

I am needing to raise funds to pay for the Nose and Throat specialist for my daughter. I am not sure how many times we may need to see the specialist. I know if I can, even get her to one appointment that's a step forward to helping her, get better.

Please help my daughters health improve and help us get her the care she needs.
