Help Me Fight Cancer and Reclaim my Life
Auckland
Hi, My name is Zelda, I'm 44 years old, and just over a year ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma colon cancer — the kind of diagnosis that changes everything in an instant.
I fought hard. I went through 12 months of intense chemotherapy. I kept working — not because I had to, but because I refused to let cancer to take everything from me. After treatment, I dealt with low iron, blood transfusions, and neuropathy in my hands and feet — and still, I kept going. I changed my diet, committed to morning walks, yoga, and rebuilding my strength. My stoma was reversed, and my bowel function returned, and my scans came back clear. I could finally breathe again.
Then came the latest scan - a shadow on my lung.
The cancer has returned — metastasized to my lung. I now faces major surgery to remove the middle lobe. That surgery is covered, thankfully. But I also want to begin high-dose intravenous Vitamin C therapy, which supports healing, strengthens the immune system, and helps target cancer cells.
This is where I need your help.
These treatments aren't covered, and I can't afford them on my own. If you're able to donate - even $10 - it would mean the world to me. Every bit truly helps.
If you can't give, sharing this with others or sending a message of support would be deeply appreciated. Your kindness, encouragement, and belief in me are a big part of what keeps me going.
Thank you so much for reading, caring, and for standing with me.
With love and gratitude,
Zelda
Funds raised will go towards giving me the very best chance at recovery & prevent recurrence, I have been advised to undergo high-dose intravenous Vitamin C therapy, an evidence-based treatment that supports the body’s ability to heal, boosts the immune system & targets cancer cells.
