Please Help My Kids Visit their Cousin in Hospital this Holidays

My 10yo nephew has sadly been diagnosed with cancer, just before Christmas. In order to receive amazing medical care and support, he's been transferred to Christchurch Children's Hospital.

But unfortunately that means it is difficult and expensive for all of his whānau to see him this Christmas holidays (aside from his great uncle, his entire extended family live in the North Island). No-one knows how long he's going to be in Christchurch for, but it's likely to be over 4 months.

My kids haven't seen their cousin for 6 months, as he and his family live in Wellington, so we only see them rarely. This distance is hard for us, and every year my children and I really really REALLY look forward to the Christmas holidays, as we get to spend a very special week with our Wellington whānau. This year, that cherished week has been suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us.

As a solo parent, I can't afford to get us all down to Christchurch to see him. The cheapest option we can find is to fly using Grabaseat tickets, and stay with my Uncle in Christchurch. This is going to cost us roughly $1,000. If you could help us get to Christchurch this summer, my children and I would be ecstatic. Even a small donation would be gratefully and lovingly appreciated.
