Please help my sister Jenn

Jenn's car and all of her possessions were stolen yesterday. She's just had another failed attempt at IVF, and is now at rock bottom.

Auckland

Jenn is a beautiful soul, self employed teaching singing lessons as her job.

Unfortunately, yesterday Jenn found herself at rock bottom. After packing her car with all of her possessions, with the plan to visit family in Taupo, Jenn's car was broken into and stolen from a mall carpark. She was left with her phone and her wallet.

This is the rotten icing on the cake for Jenn, who after paying $17,000 on another failed attempt of IVF is now emotionally, physically and mentally exhausted.

Jenn has never asked for anything, she is the epitome of an independent woman. Deciding to support herself, living week to week, building her own vocal coach career, and hoping to have children on her own.

It is unfortunate that Jenn does not have insurance, the Police were able to find her damaged car after it was abandoned, but all of her possessions are gone. The estimated value of these things exceed $10,000. Including her Macbook which she requires to do her work, online vocal coaching.

Jenn is a truly wonderful and caring person, and in times like this really needs any help she can get. As her sister I am asking anyone to donate anything. When you loose everything, anything you can give is appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Update  12 October 2020

Thank you to all of the people who have donated money, kind words and time to my sister Jenn. It has been a very trying time for Jenn and every dollar and message of support really does help.

The Police investigation is ongoing, and as of today none of her possessions have been found. The Police have informed Jenn, that the likelyhood of any of her belongings being returned is extremely low.

While her belongings are just 'stuff', to Jenn they are photos of people no longer with us, the birth of babies, friends and family, and videos she will never see again. It is the immense personal violation of knowing her music and songs she has written over the past 20 years are now in the hands of someone who does not deserve them.

This is a friendly reminder, that in a world of hate and unfairness, there is also love and kindness, generosity and empowerment. Jenn is truly grateful for all of the support.

Thank you everyone,

Wendy.
