Nico needs urgent surgery

Auckland

Meet Nico.

Nico is my gorgeous puppy with so much love to give. Unfortunately Nico being as adventurous as he is, jumped off the couch on the weekend and landed wrong. Nico injured his leg badly. I took him to the vet which booked him in for a X-Ray today which shows he’s patella moved out of place and would require MPL surgery.

the vet bill for the sedation and X-Ray today was $826.62 which I would need to pay before they can book him for the surgery which I have been advised would be approximately $2000 - $2500.

I am seeking any kind of assistance to help with the cost of this and the upcoming surgery.

he is my baby and it breaks my heart to see him in so much pain and I would like to get him the help as soon as I can. Any help towards this cost would be so much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
