Ollie needs to chase butterflies for many years to come! Please help him get better
Bay of Plenty
My beautiful child in a cats body has very sadly been diagnosed with a bone tumour in his paw. Ollie is only 4 years old and it is extremely unusual for such a young and previously healthy cat to be struck by cancer like this. He is not yet in pain, but the vet and surgeon has told us that it gets very aggressive, very fast.
His x-ray's show that it is so far limited just to his front paw, and we are hopeful that if we can get onto treatment quickly, we can stop or at least slow down the spread of disease. Ollie is already booked in for surgery this week to figure out the exact state of the tumour and whether amputation is a viable option.
I want to do absolutely everything I can to help his survival as he means the world to me, and four is far too young to lose such a loving member of my family. Vet bills and treatment are very expensive and I am struggling to keep on top of all of them. I do not want him to suffer due to this.
I would appreciate any help from anyone who understands what it is like to lose a loved one, fluffy or otherwise, far too soon.
Thank you, and on behalf of Ollie, 'meow'
My cat child
