Please help our Charlie boy!

Hey guys, i’m Jess and i’m Charlie’s mum - charlie is my fur baby and he’s been going through a really rough time lately.

3 weeks ago Charlie had several vet visits due to a rather large abcess and has now very unfortunately been hit by a car :(

Charlie has completely shattered one of his back legs and is going to need a rather expensive surgery! Our options for Charlie were to 1. Have him euthanised which is not an option for us as he is an extremely healthy, happy young boy... 2. Have his leg amputated which would be a cheaper option but could lead to complications later on with his joints as it is a back leg which supports a lot of his weight... 3. Reconstruction of his leg. Our vet and us believe the best option considering he is young and healthy is to have his wee leg reconstructed.

** UPDATE** after so much back and forth and speaking to several people who have been in similar situations as well as speaking with a friend within the industry we have decided to amputate Charlie’s leg now that we are confident he will be able to live a normal happy life without it.

The problem being that myself and Charlie’s dad are getting married in four weeks and have extremely limited funds to spare due to not only the wedding but also having several other emergency vet visits only 3 weeks ago.

Charlie’s dad and I would REALLY, REALLY appreciate ANY help we can get at all, we want the best for our Charlie boy but are in a bit of a pickle finacically.

Please help us fix our broken little man!
