    Hi all,

    Izzy underwent her third MRI and third attempt at a lumber puncture which they finally managed to get (shes a wriggler).

    We have an appointment today to get the results and should hopefully have a plan over the next week.

    Hi everyone thank you so much for your support so far. Ash, Karl and Izzy are so so grateful!

    Anything helps so I’ve changed the goal incase anyone wants to keep supporting this strong family and little girl.

    Update from Ash - 13.3.21

    Got home at 9pm last night.

    Test results of the biopsy so far are inconclusive. There are still tests to be done but it's looking like the biopsy was unsuccessful (we can still hope).

    Next steps are special blood tests and a lumber puncture on Thursday and wait for the specialists meeting on Friday to decide what to do from here.

    In the meantime we are home until Thursday morning. Izzy has been such a champ with her recovery from the biopsy and was practically climbing the walls of the hospital yesterday (so were we tbh).

    So no answers yet just more questions and tests :(

    4.3.21

    With level 3 in auckland. Our little fam spent most of our days at the park where izzy has found new love for birds 😁

    As her biopsy has been pushed out till Tuesday, they decided to take the line out of her thigh so we could go home until Monday! Now we are getting everything organized for when we go back up on Monday and spend some quality time with our friends and family xxxx

    Update 2.3.21:

    They have pushed izzys biopsy out until Tuesday next week as they couldn't get the room and anesthetist booked.

    But now the head of neurology will be performing the surgery so that is definitely great news...

    They are currently deciding whether we will be allowed to go home for a few days too so fingers crossed we can spend a few days at home before the operation 🤞🤞🤞🤞
