Shema’s Story From Japan;
I’m Natasha's aunt and we are citizens of New Zealand who arrived here in Japan a day before Tasha had a sudden seizure which she was in a coma for 3 days and short-lived confusion. Riding Tokyo ambulances wasn’t on our list of things to do in Japan, but we had to take two ambulances to get Tasha to the hospital. Tasha became seriously ill just a day after we arrived in Tokyo. When we arrived at the first hospital, doctors told us that Tasha's situation was critical and that she needed special treatment, which was only available at the Central Hospital. I was terrified and scared for my baby (niece), feeling helpless and unsure what to do, when I heard my mum's voice in my head. “Shema aua ne'i galo le Atua i soo I mea uma, aua nei galo le alofa ole Atua. Tatalo”. I did just that - I prayed in the ambulance, I prayed when they pushed her down the emergency hallway, and I prayed in the waiting room while the doctors were trying to stabilise her. 5 hours later, the doctors managed to stabilise her and explained what was happening to her. She was stable but had to be treated in the special unit since she was still very critical. As of today, 8th Dec 2024, Tasha’s hospital bill totals over $30,000. Not purchasing insurance for our travel and air fares was a mistake I regret. We supposed to leave Japan at the end of last week, but Tasha's recovery at Tokyo hospital is ongoing, and we must settle her hospital expenses before departing Japan. THANK YOU 🙏
Shema and I are Natasha's aunts. Since Natasha is not in a suitable state of mind, she cannot be the payee. Instead, Shema, who is with her in Japan, will be the payee, as it is easier for her to pay the bill when she receives the donations.
The money will be using to pay for Natasha’s hospital bills in Japan.
Funds to be paid to Natasha's other Aunt Shema who is with her in Japan.
