Please help save our Koura boy

I am starting this fund to help raise money to save our very loved dog Koura. For 2 years he has had a problem with his left ear. I will try and keep this short though I want to share all the sad feelings me and my family have about this. In and out of vet visits we were always told just give him this cleaning solution,use this ointment,use these wipes (all off the shelf)for 2 years! Not once have they actually checked his ear. Until last week when we rushed him to the vet because he couldn't breathe properly,wouldnt sleep,was out of control,gauging at his ear which caused it to rip and bleed. They declined us as we only had $50 for consultation but they wanted $90 because it was an emergency. We went home and kept him calm monitoring him 24/7. 2 days later we went back the ear was finally checked and the vet confirms it was very badly infected and will need surgery before the infection grows into cancer or we have to put him down if we cant afford the $800 to save him. My wife is so upset,we are going through a IVF process to try and have a baby as we both have complications in conceiving,we have had 1 successful outcome and hope to have one more but it's a long emotional journey. She has been trying to sell her belongings to also help raise money but that can only help us a small bit. We rescued Koura in 2015 he was posted on Facebook to be put down on the day because the owner didn't want him,so we picked him up and he has been the most loving dog to us. We think it's unfair that he should be put down because of human negligence,the vet has not been considerate of our feelings and have let him and us down by not overlooking the problem in the first visit. Constant visits x5 and just passed us expensive patch up meds off the shelf,2 years later is wrong! Please help us save our boy. Koura is on the right in the photo. We appreciate any help at all.
