Saving the Best Boy

My little man Weetbix (the cat) has had the worst week of his life. A blocked urethra turned into surgery, which turned into infection, cystitis and reblocking and another round of catheters with a bag for his wee. The vets were really worried, and preparing me to make a tough decision. Today they are cautiously hopeful! After nearly two weeks at the vet he has been through the wringer, and I'm facing a hefty bill. Normally I'm good with vet bills, always have money set aside for this sort of thing, and I work hard on prevention with healthy diets etc - but this bill is already over $6000... I hate to ask, as I know a lot of people are struggling financially at the moment, but if you can give anything, even a dollar, it would make all the difference. Weetbix is a darling, you would love him if you met him. He is the very best boy, always hungry for love and kisses, always gentle and happy. He never learned to meow sweetly like most cats, instead he has the screech of a small pteradactyl. I appreciate any help you can give, even sharing this page to fellow animal lovers would be amazing. Thank you <3
