    Hi Everybody,

    Thank you all so much for your kindness and donations.

    I can tell you i have had my second treatment of Avastin On Thursday followed by my chemotherapy on friday.

    Its still too early to tell but im starting to feel so much more like me and after my Pericardial Effusion which nearly killed me this is an excellent sign.

    I appreciate each and everyone of you for helping make this happen for me.

    Round #12 and Selina is finally done with the OXI! Thats the horrible black bag hanging above her and it gives her the most side effects, so she’s super happy this is the last one!

    Maintenance Chemo from here on in.

  • Chemotherapy Round 11

    This week saw Selina take on Avastin & Round 11 of Chemotherapy. All possible thanks to the ongoing support of close family & friends.

    In two weeks time Selina will have her final rounds of Chemotherapy & Avastin for this cycle, before starting her next lot of treatment. And she’s still smiling & looking amazing. 😍

  • Chemo Round 10

    Today Selina had round 10 of her Chemotherapy with the support of her husband (behind the camera).

    There are two more rounds of Chemotherapy (& hopefully Avastin), before a discussion on what type of maintenance Chemotherapy Selina will need.

  • Avastin Round 7

    Today Selina had round 7 of the Avastin drug prior to tomorrow’s chemotherapy.

    We wouldn’t have gotten this far without everyone’s generosity. The money raised so far has paid for the seven rounds of the Avastin drug. That’s no mean feat. Thank you.

    The good news is, that the drug is now capped and will be free from now on. The bad news is, this doesn’t cover the administration charges of the drug which will still cost between $1500 to $2000 per round.

    With only 3 more rounds of chemotherapy to go in this cycle we are still hopeful we’ll fundraise the last little bit to get the last two rounds of Avastin.

    Thanks to the staff, who are amazing & do a fantastic job.

    Thanks to everyone who is fundraising for Selina. It all counts.

    Fortunately smiles and laughs are free 😊😍

    This week saw Round 9 of Chemotherapy and Round 6 of Avastin.

    The treatment is really knocking Selina for six, but you’d never know from her positive attitude.

    And with such beautiful & unrelenting support from her family and friends, she keeps on smiling xx

    It’s been so busy for Selina, so apologies for so many updates so close together. Yesterday was Round Four of Avastin followed by an exhausting day of chemotherapy today. Thanks again to her Dad Paul Okeeffe who supported her today. She’s feeling very tired today hence no hospital photo however this gorgeous pic is with one of her reasons to fight.     Today Selina started the unfunded treatment Avastin. This is only possible thanks to all the donations, meals and support she has received so far! A huge thank you to you all! We are so close to raising the funds to pay for this first drug, but still need more money to complete the treatment. More fundraisers on the way & any ideas and/or support would be fantastic ❤️
