Please help Cailey and Johann

Sadly we had a sudden passing in our area on Tuesday 2nd June 2026. A lovely South African couple Caylie Whitfield & Johann Hauptfleisch who are our neighbours in Wainuiomata , sadly Johann the husband passed away. It is just the two of them here as there whanau are still in SA, they have been in NZ for 3 years coming July and unfortunately didn’t have there residency yet to receive any government benefits. So Caylie has been left with all these unexpected costs.

We are doing everything we can to help her but due to the unexpected situation and no policies- she has to face funeral and living costs alone and so much more, I would like to help her as much as I can to give her some relief and support . All funds will go towards funeral costs and living costs. Her husband was a lovely man who had so much more to give he loved on our kids very much the last time we spoke to him he said he was planning on getting all our kids Christmas stockings 🥺 she has received great community support and she is very thankful
