Please help us fix our broken ramps

$115 of $800 goal
Given by 6 generous donors in around 3 months

We are a group of Year 5 and 6 students who love to scooter and skateboard. There are holes in our ramps and we can't use them.

Auckland

We are a group of Whangaparaoa primary kids trying to make a cool place for just scooters and skateboards because the bikers have a bike track and a pump track all for them. we just got a trial place it is going well and fun but there are a lot of downsides, we are trying to fix these downsides. All our ramps are old and broken and some can't be used. People can get hurt.

We want to fix our ramps but it costs a lot of money.

We are going to ask the local community for help.

We need:

-donations of wood and equipment to help us fix the old ramps

-donate time to help us fix them

-donate money to help us to fix them.

-donate unused ramps if you have them.

What are we for

So people who use scooters and skateboards have their own space away from the bikers.

To encourage people to ride scooters and skateboards more and spend less time on devices. To fix the broken ramps so there are more places to use.

What are are our problems

We don’t have enough ramps. Lots are broken.

It’s hard to get the kids to keep in the new area.

Little kids going on the ramps/taking too long.

Solutions

Different areas for age groups or skills.

Fix ramps

More ramps. Mini quarter pipe.

Make some rules for the area and put them up.

Use of funds

To buy materials to rebuild the broken parts of the ramps. Any surplus money will go towards fixing other ramps and then hopefully buying a new ramp in the future.
