Our brother had a snowboarding accident and has broken his Femur he urgently needs to have surgery within the next 12 - 24 hours

Auckland

Hi everyone , We are reaching out to anyone that can spear $1.00 to help us with our brothers medical costs .

He's had a serious snowboarding accident and has badly broken his femur, He is currently in hospital awaiting surgery which the doctors have said they will do 14/03/2020 but he can not leave the hospital without paying for the surgery which is estimated to be about $10,000 Canadian.

This is just the start of our problem , He also has a helicopter Bill to pay which got him off the Mountain along with X-ray, Doctors , and transportation costs to cover, so now your probably asking what about travel insurance , well ...... he left NZ in November 2018 and had full travel and medical insurance up until January 2020 unfortunately he let it lapse ( yes we and He knows this was a huge mistake ) please, any help will be greatly appreciated .

Progress Report on Brandon  3 April 2020

Hello Everybody 👋🏻

Once again, such a very huge "THANKS" for all your very kind and generous donations, they are so very much appreciated 🙏🏻

Well, goodness me, what a wild roller coaster ride we're all on at the moment with COVID-19 thrown in to the mix of everything!!

Even if we could've got Bran home, he wouldn't have been able to make it because by the time he'll be healed enough to travel, as we all know, the borders are shut, so's he'll be in Pano for the foreseeable future...

He had the staples removed from his leg last week and the surgeon is happy with his progress so far... Hopefully in 8 weeks he should be off his crutches and be able to fully weight bear, then fingers crossed there will be some jobs around that he could apply for... In the meantime he's in lockdown like the rest of us & in these unprecedented times who knows what the future will look like???

Wishing all of you and your family and friends a safe and healthy journey through this uncharted territory...

Lots of love

Nicky xxx💞💞💞
