Please help me raise funds for my son-in-law & his young family to pay living costs after a serious injury from an unprovoked assault.
Northland
Johno was seriously injured in an assault that recently took place after my mother's funeral in January. He is self employed and needs to support his wife and 5 year old daughter. His injuries are serious and he is unable to work, drive, or walk without crutches at present and for a further few months. He may face surgery in 6 weeks time and further recovery thereafter! They receive a little help from acc but it only covers their rent and nothing more. I am Johno's mother-in-law and my husband and other family have been helping as best we can, but it is getting more difficult to do this now. If anybody would like to help me raise funds for this young family, it would be greatly received and it would certainly take the pressure off.
I am Johno Yarrow's mother in law and I would really like to raise money to help him and his young family through a terrible time. Johno has been injured in a serious assault and will be unable to work and pay bills for a few months and still may face surgery with further recovery. He is only getting assistance to pay rent and nothing further. My family have done everything we can to support them but it is getting more difficult to do this now.
These monies will go toward paying some bills for them and for food mainly, plus medical expenses to help them get through this injury.
Johno Yarrow update 26 March 2018
Hi everyone. Johno is having his surgery on Tuesday 27th March. It will be extensive surgery and a long recovery thereafter. Another 8 weeks healing time and physio down the track again. It has certainly been a difficult time for him and his family. They appreciate the donations that have been made so far. I also would like to say thank you to you all. You have all helped ease the financial pressure that has been put on them. I will update again further along on Johno's behalf.
Thank you...
