Harry and Seb want to thank you all so much for the incredible support and donations to help with their successful NZ representative rowing trips. One of the best things they ever done and they are so grateful to everyone that has had their backs! They are looking forward to their next adventure!
Well done to Harry Lightfoot and to Nathan Strachan on their 2nd placing in the B final of the Men’s Double Sculls tonight in Lithuania at the U19 World Champs. Such an exciting race to watch with the kiwis thundering down the track finishing 0.37sec behind the Swiss and we are all incredibly proud . Ended up 7th out of 23 crews. The smiles say it all!!!

6 weeks of hard training ( and some fun) the NZ U19 Rowing team are all masked up and bound for Lithuania.
Harry and Nathan are excited to get stuck in and see how they fare against the best in the world. Racing starts August 6th through to August 10th.

While we have been hunkering down for winter Seb has been over to the States and raced hard over 2 days in hot humid conditions. We are extremely excited to report he placed 1st in the double, 3rd in the four and quad and 4th in the mixed 8
The Rowing NZ U19 Development Team won the International Regatta Challenge Overall Team Trophy!! There were 12 teams: 8 USA, 2 Canada, 1 NZ, 1 Mexico. This is an incredible result and we are incredibly proud of Seb and the RNZ team.

Harry is still training up in Karapiro, really happy with the progress and looking forward to heading away Sunday 27th to get stuck in to the world champs!
Just wanted to shout out a huge thanks to each and every donor, we have been blown away by the support from you all and look forward to posting some photos and updates of the trainings soon!! All this support really is very humbling and the generosity of our community is outstanding. The boys had a great training session thanks to Dunstan RC last weekend with some U23 rowers and Uni rowers. Harry is off to Christchurch this weekend to train with the his doubles partner and his squad heading overseas in August.
