My name is Maria.

From the age of 4, I have dedicated myself to the sport of rhythmic gymnastics, pouring my heart and soul into every routine and every practice session.

I am 17 now. Rhythmic gymnastics has given me so much. Throughout these years I have risen in the rhythmic ranks from a complete beginner to competing nationally and internationally. I have won multiple Nationals Championships and represented New Zealand at Australian Nationals, Singapore Open, Pacific Rim (Columbia), 2024 Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament Platja d’Aro (Spain).

This year presents an exciting opportunity for me to represent New Zealand at 2025 Gdynia Stars Baltic Cup (Poland) and 24th lrina Deleanu Cup (Romania).

I love traveling with a team, representing my country, reaching personal bests and making new friends.

Training fees, apparatus, leotards and every trip are all very expensive and all are funded by the gymnasts’ families. The cost of upcoming tour is $12,000.
