Please join us in supporting whānau pani (grieving family), Terry's beloved wife Hinemoa Rose
Waikato
A few weeks ago our dearly loved 'Matua Terry' quietly and suddenly passed away. Described so well by a friend and former colleague “Mr Terry, a man of great humility, kindness and love. He gently led and guided, not demanding respect but quietly gaining it, the Timorese expression ‘neneik, neneik, bebeik, bebeik’ (slowly slowly bit by bit) is a perfect description. Terry went on to become well respected in the world of remote education in Indigenous communities. Without doubt the angels carried this beautiful man quietly to heaven”
Matua Terry, a staunch Cantabrian at heart, has left an incredible legacy of aroha / love with his beloved wife, whānau & each of his students here across NZ Aotearoa, Timor Leste and most recently in the communities of Mantamaru and Kalgoorlie, WA. ‘Kāore te kumara e kōrero mō tōna ake reka’, we will not meet another more humble and kind. Please join us in supporting whānau pani (grieving family), his soul mate Hinemoa Rose and their faithful canine companion Eggbert, "Eggy".
Moe mai rā e te rangatira
We first met our friends Whaea Rose and Matua Terry in approx 2016 at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, Hamilton
All funds will directly go into Rose’s bank account to help cover funeral/ tangihanga arrangements, relieve the burden of financial stress and to allow time to grieve and find her feet again
