Walking Alongside the Wade Family

On 27 December, Shane — a devoted husband to Jenifer Wade, loving father to Judah, Tehlilah and Keziah, a proud grandfather, and a cherished family man — went to be with the Lord. While his passing is heartbreaking for those who love him, we rejoice in the assurance that Shane is now in heaven and at peace.

Shane was a man of God who loved the Lord deeply and lived his life with faith, integrity, and generosity. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and to bring them to New Zealand a few years ago, believing it was where God was leading them. Since moving from South Africa, Shane and Jenifer have faithfully planted themselves in their church and community, building a new life and home here.

This season also brings a period of transition. With Shane’s passing, the family now faces life with one less income, funeral expenses and the ongoing challenge of becoming established in New Zealand.

This page has been set up by friends from their church in NZ to lovingly support the Wade family in the medium term as they adjust and move forward during this time of change.
