Fundraising for Poly Group performance costumes for Hutt Fest.

At Maranatha Christian School we are in a blessed position where we honour the unique cultures and languages within our school community while celebrating our shared identity found in Christ.
This year our Poly group will be participating in Hutt Fest 2024 where we will showcase our talent and faith with other schools across the Hutt Valley. Our group will be performing a mixture of Māori and Pasifika items including our school haka.
As this is a new opportunity for our students, we are fundraising to purchase a kete of performance costumes for the school that can be used at this and future events. The Poly Group tamariki are being encouraged to be creative and help fundraise, however we would like to give our whole school community the opportunity to contribute.
We have set up this Give A Little page where sponsors can make a donation. Donations through this page will receive a receipt.

Tamoko Stencil Kit ($490)
Material & Design for ‘Belt of Truth’
Foliage for uniform ($150)
Spray paint for foliage (red)
Red paint for boys
Feathers
Black lip stick & eyeliner
Sewing (foliage + pacific patterns)
Pacifika patterened material
Black material
Flowers for girls TBC
Kaea (leader) Cloak (or similar)

Maranatha Christian School is a state-integrated co-ed Christian school with up to 160 children from years 1 to 8.
