I am typing this from chch hospital in a room on the children's ward dreaming of home, it's been a huge 9months and the girls are growing. We have managed to get an HRV installed at home and it helps when Poppy is able to be at home. We have also managed to buy another car that means we can fit Poppy's specialised chair and car seat making taking her in the car a lot safer. She continues to throw curve balls at us daily and our days in hospital continue to grow. Our next adventure is to get Poppy's body to recognise movement so we are trying to get a rocking base for her specialised chair which isn't funded and is quite expensive and are looking for a swing that she can lay down in as she struggles to sit without a lot of support.
