An Otago Peninsula Pump Track Dream

The dream is a Pump track; a diverse play space for people of all ages and stages. Skaters, scooters, bikers, wheelchairs are all heaps of fun on a pump track. A wide asphalt track featuring a series of bumps, berms and rollers keep wheels moving with less effort.

The dream track will be set in the beautiful Portobello Domain-between the tennis courts and the soccer fields so will increase the use of our park and provide more play options for whānau.

Kind of like a skate park but more broadly accessible for all wheels, our pump track will be the most fun Dunedin's had since Moana pool got it's hydroslides...in 1984.

We at Portobello Community inc have been running various fun events to raise the funds, but we need a little help to reach the target.

Nationwide funding organisations: $144,000.00

Community funding organisations: $122,000.00

Community fundraising: 14,800.00

Private and corporate donations: $20,000.00

If we need more money we will do additional fundraising and seek additional grant funds.
