Pippa Hudson: From Prayer to Purpose: My Journey to Norway

Support Me in Pursuing God’s Call in Norway

After much prayer and reflection, I am stepping out in faith to attend the Northern Lights Outdoor Adventure Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM in Borgen, Norway, beginning August 2025. This 7-month programme is a life-changing opportunity to grow spiritually, serve others, and share God’s love around the world.

For years, I’ve felt called to take a gap year to deepen my faith and make a meaningful impact. After praying for clarity last year, I heard God clearly say, “You need to go.” A vivid dream about “Borgen” soon followed, leading me to the YWAM base in Norway. These moments confirmed that this is where God is calling me.

The DTS includes:

Lecture Phase (4 months): Learning scripture, growing in my relationship with Jesus, and tackling unique outdoor challenges like glacier hikes and snowshoeing to build resilience and teamwork.

Outreach Phase (2.5 months): Sharing the Gospel through evangelism, youth ministry, and acts of service. Previous outreach locations have included Bulgaria, and I am excited to see where God leads us.

This journey is not a holiday; it’s a chance to follow God’s plan, develop practical tools for serving others, and live out my faith.
