Problematic Tree
Alison needs help to raise funds to fell a tree and remove the stump. The council is washing their hands of it.

A friend of mine Alison has a tree on her property that is causing major drainage and allergy problems with the surrounding neighbors. The council is unfortunately shifting burden of caring for the drains and roads to the rate paying public.
Apparently the council agrees that the tree roots are breaking the storm water pipes under the road and lifting the tarmac but they do not want to address the problem because the tree is technically on private land. The tree in question has been there for many many years but it has now become her problem.
It would be great if we can come together as a community to sort this tree out.
Alison has been quoted $8000 to have the tree removed but she does not have those kind of funds available to her so anything you are able to contribute would be very greatly received.
