Support Brodys Brave Journey while he battles Leukemia.

Wellington

On August the 8th, the world simply stopped, and stood still for Jeremy and Liz when their 2 year old special little champion Brody has been diagnosed with Pre B ALL Leukemia.

While Liz, Jeremy and Brody’s older brother Tyler tackle the unpredictable daily struggles, and the prospect of chemo and radiation treatments over the next three years, plus other struggles ahead of them in the future. We, the friends and families had an idea, to hopefully help and ease their struggle…just a little.

With the help of a few people we have setup this Givealittle page to assist towards all the extra costs incurred to help Brody while in hospital and when he returns home. Any money left once Brody has recovered will be donated to Ronald McDonald House or Child Cancer Charities. We have also set up a Project Brody Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ProjectBrody/ to post fundraising ideas, support, any questions you may have about Leukaemia or what you could do to help this amazing family. If you would like to follow Brody’s journey, please feel free to join Brody’s Brave Journey Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/1759315234353997/ which catalogues our little champ’s day in life by his brave Mum and Dad.

It seems like Brody already has friends in a lot of places. thank you all for your messages of support and love for this beautiful family x

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause. Can't even comprehend how difficult this must be for you all. But we are thinking of you and following progress, can't do a lot from the UK but hope that passing on a little of our good fortune in tough times can turn your luck around.
