Project Wildman

I’ve just finished hitchhiking around the country with my fridge “Steve” having a great old time! We had a ride in a 65 Impala convertible, a chopped mini, I took him Paddle boarding and Dolphin watching in Paihia, enjoyed some European romances (not so much Steve) ... but when the hard times in life inevitably hit Steve would be about as much use to me as a typical Kiwi bloke.

I’m on a mission to change one massive thing about how us guys do manhood – Talking – about the real shit that’s going on – not just for ourselves but also because there are many times when our mates are going through really brutal times, a marriage break up, business failure, the loss of a child or partner and we have no idea what to say or how to act and so it’s swept aside and our mates face it alone.

So three years ago I set up Project Wildman as a structure and environment for guys to start talking.

We currently run in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch but I have 10 more cities with guys waiting for it to be set up and running.
